RBC Insurance Launches Simplified Critical Illness Insurance Option

Features an easier application process and enhanced affordability

Mississauga, ON – November 22, 2007 – RBC Insurance today announced the release of its enhanced critical illness insurance product.

The new product features a simplified design that is easier to understand and provides a solution to clients who are looking for an affordable alternative to more traditional critical illness insurance plans.

The plan includes:

  • Coverage for the top three conditions: cancer, heart attack and stroke
  • Benefit amounts of $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $75,000
  • An Early Assistance Benefit that provides up-front access to money when certain covered conditions are diagnosed early, with no reduction in benefits for future claims
