June 2011 Virden, MB Custom Software Solutions (CSSI) is pleased to announce the release of automated SGI CANADA Broker AR/AP Statement Reconciliations in its Brokers Workstation (TBW) product.
The current manual Accounts Receivable and Payable company reconciliations process is enhanced with the ability to receive an electronic statement provided by SGI CANADA and perform the transaction reconciliation and matching process without human intervention. The automated process will conclude by the issue of a report detailing the matched and unmatched items from the statement.
The current manual reconciliation process is labour intensive as all transactions must be reviewed and matched in order to identify the 10% or fewer missing, unmatched or items posted with errors such as an incorrect commission rate. The elimination of the human factor in identifying the matching items will save that time and permit the user to go directly to the unmatched issues, if any, requiring attention. This is a project that will deliver real impact to broker back offices.
Due to the similarity of the TBW Accounts Receivable and Payable systems, the project will address the automated reconciliation of both agent and company billed policy transactions, so the project will offer benefits to all brokers regardless of their chosen billing method.
