Mike Rowell

While at Alfa Insurance Companies, Mike Rowell has been instrumental in forming the Business Intelligence Department from original charter to operating group. He created analytics from concept to implementation of meaningful results in less than 18 months and supervised development of multivariate models designed to identify profitable customer segments. Rowell is responsible for the preparation and management of the Underwriting and Development Department budget. He implemented innovative business ideas which have saved Alfa Insurance Companies millions of dollars. Previously, he was Vice President of Corporate Development and Tax Manager at the organization. Rowell graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in accounting and a master’s in tax accounting. He received his MBA from Georgia State University.

Mark Breading
Partner, Strategy Meets Action
Mark Breading has more than 25 years of insurance and information technology experience in a variety of leadership roles. He has held both technical and business positions, including roles as IBM’s Global Insurance Strategist, Global Insurance Marketing Leader, and Director of Global Executive Conferences for insurance and banking.
Breading developed and implemented a methodology for strategic account planning that is being used by IT solution providers to increase penetration in key accounts. He has also led the development of joint partner strategies for insurance IT solution providers.
In addition, Breading founded Strategy & Marketing LLC, a firm providing strategic consulting services to the insurance, banking, and information technology industries.

Stuart Rose
Global Insurance Marketing Manager, SAS
Stuart Rose began his career as an actuary and now has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining SAS, he worked for a leading global insurance company in its life and property division and its casualty division. Rose also was responsible for marketing, product management and application development at a variety of software vendors. He has played an active role in the successful development and implementation of enterprise systems, working with insurance companies in the US, UK, Europe and South Africa. Rose graduated from Sheffield University with a BSc in mathematical studies.
