Toronto, ON (Feb. 5, 2020) – BrokerLink, one of the largest property and casualty insurance brokerages in Canada, announced today that it has acquired Major Brothers Limited (“Major Brothers”) effective February 1, 2020. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Major Brothers, located in Halifax and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has provided personal and commercial insurance services to its community since 1922.
President of Major Brothers, Roger Ghiz, purchased the brokerage in 1982 with a mission to offer insurance products that provide peace of mind to clients, while building community engagement.

Major Brothers’ employees will continue to serve customers as part of the BrokerLink team. Roger Ghiz, will assist BrokerLink during the transition process.
