Toronto, ON (Sept. 12, 2019) – Apollo Insurance Solutions Ltd. is pleased to announce that through partnership with Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, it now offers a Liability insurance package for CrossFit instructors through the Apollo Exchange. Like all products featured on the Exchange, brokers can quote, bind, and issue policy documents for their CrossFit instructor clients online and in real-time.
This is a multi-line package, which includes Professional Liability, General Liability, Contents & Assets, and Legal Phone Line coverage.
Apollo partnered with Trisura to offer many small business packages that brokers are able to purchase on behalf of their clients directly from the Exchange. Brokerages are also able to white label the products and sell them directly from their brokerage website.
The entire process, from quoting, binding coverage, and issuing policy documents is immediate, completely online, and paper free. Some of the other many industry classes that are available include:
- Business and Management Consultants
- Yoga Instructors
- Barbers and Hair Stylists
“Trisura is a great partner of ours, and Apollo’s mission to empower the broker channel is realized through partnerships like this one,” said Apollo CEO Jeff McCann. “With the addition of this industry class, our broker users can spend less time on paperwork and more time building relationships in the CrossFit community.”
Trisura is one of eight carriers that offer their products on the Apollo Exchange. Carriers benefit from deep analytics, low cost distribution, and data transparency when they partner with Apollo.
Apollo Exchange gives brokers more access to products, and offers carriers a new distribution channel and access to data.
“We are more than just technology or distribution with our insurer partners — we are consultants who provide insights into the performance of their products that insurers have never had before,” said McCann.
Earlier this month, a data analysis uncovered a prominent 61 percent increase in the quote to bind ratio on the Exchange. That improvement is a direct result of insights gained from digital data collection, broker feedback, and carrier flexibility.
Where traditionally, application data has been locked in outdated PDF application forms, Apollo Exchange is able to collect, analyze, and report data insights back to insurers. That data is being used to optimize more accurate risk rating and pricing.
The APOLLO Exchange (legal name “Apollo Insurance Solutions Ltd.”) is Canada’s largest online insurance marketplace. Apollo empowers brokers to instantly quote, bind, and issue policy documents for hundreds of classes of small business in real time, or white label the Exchange to sell directly from their website. Brokerages integrated with the Exchange are able to respond to the changing expectations of buyers and forward-thinking employees.
Co-founded by Jeff McCann, David Dyck, Justin Hamade, and Drew Green, Apollo was created to empower brokers to better serve their clients. Following the completion of Beta testing in April 2019, Apollo successfully closed its angel round of funding, raising $1 million CAD with the support of notable investors, including Drew Green, Matias Marquez, Kim Kaplan, and Caliber Ventures. Acting members of Apollo’s Board of Directors are leading industry and entrepreneurial figures Drew Green, Steve Albiani, Tim Gamble, and Jeff McCann. In June 2019, the company launched a first of its kind: digital, monthly subscription insurance.
