Royal & SunAlliance becomes RSA

TORONTO, June 10 2008 – Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, the leading home, car and business insurer has refreshed and updated its corporate brand and will now simply be known as RSA.

Royal & SunAlliance was created after the merger between Sun Alliance and Royal Insurance 10 years ago. Given the fundamental changes that the business has gone through, it’s the right time to modernize our identity to support our profitable growth strategy. The new brand name and logo will be implemented with immediate effect.

“RSA reflects where we are today as a company and where we’re headed. Our new logo reflects an RSA that keeps you moving, protecting what’s most important to you while you get on with the business of living life,” says Rowan Saunders, President & CEO.

You will see a new logo for RSA and our Ontario-based personal lines insurer Western Assurance Company, which will now be known as WA. For more information and to see our brand in action, visit www.rsagroup.ca.
