From Doug

O Canada – what a birthday celebration! The heat returned here in Southern Ontario for a bit of a scorcher; maybe a “real” summer is in the offing.

We have so much to be thankful for, much of it embodied in the statement “the Canadian way.” Not that we don't have our squabbles. But we accept different opinions. I fervently hope we can avoid being dragged into the binary politics of polarization which seem to be emerging in many places.

Canada has no shortage of entrepreneurial, creative and innovative talent and drive, illustrated across the country.

That's true in insurance too. Leaders have initiated bold changes in all parts of the business, from distribution to product to claims, and services across the board. Canadian-based partners such as those in the Artificial Intelligence field are providing cutting-edge technology tools.

Happy Canada Day!
