from Doug:

Forty-four years ago just after my family left the farm, we took a day trip on the long Victoria Day weekend to Ottawa to see the tulips. The whole weekend was hot and sunny, over 30C each day. What a far cry from the cool weather, and a few rain-soaked areas, that we experienced this year. In spite of that, I hope you and yours had a good long weekend. Now for the fun stretch until summer.
