InsurTechTO - Monday, November 6, 2017 - The Premier Event Showcasing the InsurTech Community in Toronto

From Doug

This past weekend my heritage group held a fall planning and budget meeting. There are more than enough challenges – don't get me started on trying to insure a national association's various branches of different legal structure from coast to coast.

One main issue is membership, which is common to many such organizations. When operations are funded primarily from members' fees, it is crucial to stay relevant. With the onslaught of content available instantly through a growing number of communications options, many points of value have disappeared.

Add the complexities of rapidly evolving technologies, increasing regulation, and escalating operating costs, and survival becomes an issue, to say nothing of growth.

I could substitute “insurance” for “heritage” and make the same point. Is InsurTech a friend?

Dive deeper with us on Monday at InsurTechTO.
