Virden, MB & Wawota, SK (Dec. 4, 2018) – Andrew Agencies and Darren and Kathy Olson, owners of Wawota Agencies, are pleased to announce that effective December 1, 2018, Andrew Agencies Ltd. has purchased Wawota Agencies (2000) Ltd. located in Wawota, Saskatchewan.
The Wawota office will be re-branded to Andrew Agencies and will be the 18th location. Darren and Kathy Olson will be retiring. The remaining staff will be staying on and will be supported and complemented with existing product specialists from Andrew Agencies.
“Andrew Agencies is excited to be entering the Wawota marketplace especially with having the opportunity to acquire an established well ran brokerage like Wawota Agencies,” said Scott Andrew, President and CEO of Andrew Agencies.
“Our decision to sell the business to Andrew Agencies was based on the similarities of the two companies, one family business to another. We feel that our clients will continue to be best looked after by their organization,” stated Darren Olson, President of Wawota Agencies.
