Several challenges facing the Canadian market can be solved by the integration of new technology: new Aite Group report
Boston, MA (Aug. 15, 2018) – The Canadian financial services market is in a state of constant flux, and distributors of financial products in this market are struggling to keep up. Aite Group’s latest report, Agent and Advisor Tools in Canada: A Market Overview, summarizes the agent and advisor market in Canada and presents some of the available front-office, middle-office, back-office, and customer relationship management tools.
“Over the years, financial services firms have found it easier to develop tools in-house to support the agent and advisor channel as a result of the constant change, but they are finding that more advanced and inclusive technology will set them apart from the competition,” explains Samantha Chow, senior analyst at Aite Group.
“The technology vendor landscape supporting the agents and advisors in the Canadian market is competitive, with vendors offering complete front- to back-office solutions,” states Isabella Fonseca, senior analyst at Aite Group. “To differentiate themselves, they are focusing on CRM functionality, insurance underwriting and illustrations, integration with Fundserv and other applications, analytics, and back-office data feed integration,” she adds.
This new report is based on 13 interviews Aite Group conducted during April and May 2018 with technology vendors supporting agents and advisors in the Canadian market. It profiles AGEman Solutions, Bluesun, Ebix, Equisoft, Finaeo, iPipeline, Kronos, NexJ Systems, Salesforce, Univeris, VirtGate, and Winfund. Aite Group also interviewed 10 executives from insurance carriers, agencies, managing general agencies, national accounts, and banks in the Canadian market during April and May 2018 to help form the basis of this report.
