London, ON (Mar. 22, 2018) – McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers, based in London, Ontario, have announced they will acquire DA Kurt Insurance Brokers of Kitchener, Ontario. As of April 30, 2018 DA Kurt will become McFarlan Rowlands’ 16th branch in the province. This acquisition allows McFarlan Rowlands to expand its business to new regions, enhance its portfolio, and strengthen its presence in the current marketplace.
DA Kurt will operate as a division of McFarlan Rowlands. As so, both insurance brokerages plan to continue to operate under their own brands. As a specialist in group business for many years, McFarlan Rowlands believes there is great value in the DA Kurt brand and what it represents.
After a long standing working relationship, the two firms are excited to continue to work together under the ownership of McFarlan Rowlands.
DA Kurt will continue to operate at their current location and existing customers will see no change in their current insurance coverage. Both companies look forward to taking steps towards a smooth integration.
