Regina, SK (Jan. 30, 2018) – The Insurance Brokers’ Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) is pleased to announce its support for a new eDelivery solution soon to be released by the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO), which will allow brokers to securely send consumers their personal and commercial policy documents electronically.
The technology has been developed by CSIO in collaboration with brokers and carriers from across Canada, and will be available to IBAS members at no additional charge.
“Consumers are continuously demanding a higher level of digital integration in their lives, and that is no different when it comes to insurance,” says IBAS Chief Executive Officer Derek Lothian. “This platform provides brokers with a simple, secure, and economical tool to respond to that trend, and offer their customers a superior quality of service. It’s a win-win.”
The solution works without proprietary software applications and allows policy documents to be emailed directly to the consumer, co-branded with both brokerage and carrier logos. It is slated for rollout in February 2018.
“We welcome this endorsement from IBAS and look forward to working with them to promote the benefits of this solution,” says CSIO President & CEO Catherine Smola. “It’s a positive step in creating improved digital experiences for consumers and in helping brokers better serve their clients in the digital age.”
