Toronto, ON (June 14, 2016) – Aviva Canada is thrilled to announce that the Aviva Community Fund (“ACF“) is back for the eighth year in a row. Another $1 million will be donated to create positive change in communities across Canada.
Today, the Aviva Community Fund website launches enabling people to register for campaign updates, download the “Idea Submission Guide”, and connect with ACF through social media. The competition officially opens on September 19th, giving people ample time to prepare their submission ideas. Voting begins on October 11th, finalists are revealed on November 7th and the winners are announced on December 6th.
For the past seven years, Aviva Canada has been putting their money where their business is – investing in charitable community initiatives across Canada. Aviva is so proud to have funded more than 220 incredible ideas already (to the tune of $6.5 million), and can’t wait to donate another $1 million this year.
