CSIO Releases Update to eSignatures Vendor Dashboard

Toronto, ON (July 13, 2015) – The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations is pleased to announce the addition of two additional vendor companies to its eSignatures Vendor Dashboard. First published in July 2014, the Dashboard reviews several vendors against legal, operational and pricing criteria and supports the broker channel in adopting this important, customer-friendly technology.

With eSignatures technology, brokers and insurers enable customers to sign insurance documents electronically on computers, tablets and smartphones in a single step, improving the customer experience and improving workflow efficiency.

Over 3,000 members have viewed the dashboard since its release, with many having used it as a research tool on their journey to adopting the technology themselves. “It was incredibly valuable to have an authoritative comparison of several eSignatures vendors currently available in the marketplace,” says Adam Mitchell, President, Mitchell & Whale Insurance Brokers. “The dashboard provided a lot of confidence in the technology generally, and made it easier to move forward with implementing an eSignatures solution.”

“This expansion of the eSignatures Vendor Dashboard increases its value to our members as a research tool when investigating the solution that best fits their business needs,” says Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO. “As interest in eSignatures grows, we will continue to provide support and education to drive adoption and improve the consumer’s ease of doing business with the broker channel.”

The Dashboard, and other educational resources including articles and videos, may be viewed at CSIO.com/esignatures.
