ORBiT announces Real Time Day 2015

Waterloo, ON (Apr. 24, 2015) – ORBiT Canada has announced Real Time Day 2015 will take place May 26th at the Hilton Meadowvale in Mississauga.

Real Time Day is ORBiT’s premier educational event of the year, dedicated to the advancement of Real Time in Canada’s broker distribution channel.

“Real Time Day is jam packed with topics that are vital for everyone in the broker distribution channel,” said Wendy Watson, president of ORBiT. “Anybody serious about improving their workflows and the use of technology, or who are interested in where insurance is headed should join us.”

The theme for 2015 is ‘Make it Real.’ Topics include: sales and marketing for brokerages, change management, eSignatures, the Internet of Things, and more including questions and answers with carriers and Real Time experts.

Brian Bartosh, President of Top O’ Michigan Insurance, will deliver a morning keynote “Peek into a Sales & Marketing Brokerage”. He’ll also be on panels discussing commercial lines and the digital landscape.

Nina Dhar, leader in organizational development, strategic planning and change management, will deliver a second keynote on change management. This topic will expand into a drill down session.

ORBiT will also preview their new campaign, in partnership with the Independent Broker Association of Ontario (IBAO), designed to boost broker adoption levels of existing Real Time solutions.

Several exhibitors will be showcasing their insurance technology. Visitors to these exhibits will be eligible to win an Apple Watch.

Registration is $210 for ORBiT members and $250 for non-members. The event includes breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail reception. RIBO accredited training hours are pending.
