Latest release to provide enhanced workflows and expand connectivity options with carriers and insurers

(Nov. 17, 2014) – Applied Systems has announced the introduction of Applied TAM 2014 R2, the latest release of the most widely used agency and brokerage management system, to Canadian, U.K. and U.S. independent insurance agencies and brokerages. Applied TAM 2014 R2 provides greater consistency to workflows throughout the system, increased carrier and insurer connectivity, and enhanced usability, enabling agencies and brokerages to increase productivity and improve client service for continued business growth and profitability.

Key enhancements in the latest release of Applied TAM 2014 include:
- myTAM – additional predefined workflows in Applied TAM improve agency and brokerage operational performance through consistent processes, reduced training time for new employees, and mitigation of risks and errors. Workflows are easily accessible throughout the system beyond just the home screen, extending the use of workflows throughout the system to further automate agency and brokerage operations.
- Policy Quick View – single view into pertinent client policy detail, such as vehicle information, coverages, and covered drivers for personal auto policies, at a click of a button, providing instant access to essential information to quickly answer policy-related questions and provide a more precise explanation of client exposures by line of business.
- Enhanced carrier and insurer connectivity – North American agencies and brokerages can now benefit from easier carrier configuration setup, support for download and real-time transactions for additional lines of business, and the ability to submit commercial lines policies via a real-time transaction, enabling them to improve carrier interactions, staff productivity, and client service.
