ASCnet Atlantic and ASCnet Ottawa to hold meetings in June
Des Plaines, Ill. (May 29, 2014) – Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) Chair Chris Gory announced the formation of two new chapters that will deliver local education, networking opportunities and other member benefits in their regions. The new ASCnet Atlantic Canada and ASCnet Ottawa Canada chapters will host inaugural chapter meetings in June.
“We are pleased to be able to expand our local offerings and to provide more opportunities for increased member engagement in the areas these new chapters serve,” says Gory, president of Insurance Portfolio Financial Services in Toronto. “Chapter involvement and meeting participation provide great opportunities for members to realize an even greater return on their ASCnet membership.”
The ASCnet Atlantic Canada chapter serves members in the four Atlantic Provinces – New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island – and will host its first chapter meeting June 10 and 11 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. “We have a great agenda packed with information, education and networking opportunities for Applied Systems users,” said Chapter President Karen LeBlanc, IT manager at Huestis Insurance Group in Saint John, New Brunswick.
