Toronto, ON (Mar. 31, 2014) – Leading property and casualty insurer RSA is proud to announce that they have obtained Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) eDocs Certification for their branded EZ-Docs solution.
“As one of the first carriers to successfully transmit live policy documents to a broker system using CSIOnet, gaining CSIO Certification has been extremely important to us in our journey to deliver a strong service proposition to our brokers,” says Donna Ince, Senior Vice President of Personal & Commercial Insurance at RSA. “The endorsement from CSIO is reflective of RSA’s ongoing investment in the broker channel to help increase broker efficiency and streamline workflows.”
RSA’s EZ-Docs tool helps brokers to reduce storage space, increase efficiency and provide better service – all while saving paper. RSA is dedicated to reducing its global footprint as part of the collective effort to make better choices in what we consume and how we produce and use energy. Understanding environmental and climate risks is especially important for a responsible insurer.
“We congratulate RSA on receiving CSIO Certification for eDocs and for its continued commitment to using industry standards for the benefit of the broker distribution channel,” says Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO. “The CSIO Certification program ensures standards-based solutions, such as eDocs, are uniformly implemented across the country allowing for more efficient and seamless exchange of information between insurers and brokers.”
The CSIO certified EZ-Docs is currently available to brokers across Canada with the exception of Quebec.
