Toronto, ON (Dec. 16, 2013) – The Independent Broker Resources Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO), has launched Career Centre, an online job board for those looking to join or advance their career in the insurance industry. Career Centre is a one-stop shop for job seekers and for insurance brokers and insurance related companies to post their job opportunities across the country.
The challenge facing many current job seekers is finding a unique opportunity to begin or build on their existing career. This new site allows the job seeker to browse and apply for career opportunities at no cost.
Detailed job descriptions are posted giving the job seeker a detailed description of the position title, job function, type, duration, education required and salary ranges as related to their insurance experience.
“The insurance industry presents a world of opportunity for future leaders,” said IBRI CEO Colin Simpson. “A niche job board provides a solid career pipeline for today’s top insurance talent, matching those looking to hire with those looking for the right opportunity to achieve their career goals.”
Career Centre offers those in the insurance industry to post job opportunities at a low cost with IBAO members receiving a posting discount.
“Innovation in the insurance industry is headed in an exciting direction,” added Simpson. “IBRI intends to be at the forefront of that innovation and by offering a one stop website for job seekers, we are providing our industry with the necessary tools to be successful in building the skill sets required to lead us in to the future.”
