Oceanwide enhances Bridge policy admin system with new features for business users

Additional Functionality Empowers Insurers, Brokers, and MGAs

Montreal, QC (Oct. 28, 2013) – Oceanwide has announced the launch of a new version of Bridge, the company’s SaaS-based suite of insurance software modules, which includes significant enhancements designed to deliver more control into the hands of business users.

Bridge provides end-to-end processing for property and casualty insurance companies, brokers, and MGAs, and includes modules for policy administration (PAS), rating, document/policy production, workflow management, claims, billing, business intelligence, and agent and consumer portals. Bridge enables easy configuration of insurance products and customization of agent and consumer portals by business users directly through an intuitive, easy-to-use user interface (UI). Product designers can incorporate rich content into a configurable quote-bind-issue-pay interface, all without the high cost or delays of third-party professional services or programming.

The Bridge UI now provides configurable workflow widgets that can be included in layouts to highlight key information, actions users can perform, or provide support such as live chat or content for cross-selling. These and other functional enhancements in the release provide Bridge users with expansive control and flexibility in designing the screens and workflows for new or revised insurance products.
