Calgary, AB (Jun. 17, 2013) – Sharp Insurance is proud to announce the release of mySHARP, a new app for their clients that is available for free from the Apple, Android, BlackBerry and Windows app stores. The mySHARP app provides Sharp Insurance clients with unprecedented and immediate access to their insurance policies on their mobile devices. Sharp’s clients will also have the option of signing into their mySHARP account through a portal on sharpinsurance.ca. Both the mobile and online versions of mySHARP enable clients to instantly view & print their pink cards, access their policies, request policy changes and submit claims. Sharp Insurance is the only brokerage in Canada to give clients the ability to view & print replacement pink cards.
In addition to the features mentioned above, mySHARP offers invaluable features to help Sharp clients deal with the stress and confusion at the scene of a motor vehicle collision. When the unfortunate occurs, the mySHARP app provides prompts to recreate the accident scene, take photos for claim submission and record relevant details instantly. Once a claim is submitted, the mySHARP app uses GPS functionality on your mobile device to locate the nearest auto rental and repair facilities.
The mySHARP app was also designed with simplicity of use and an enjoyable user experience in mind for clients who find dealing with insurance confusing or intimidating. For example, the Rate My Driving game within the mySHARP app enables users to measure their driving aptitude and post the results on Facebook to compare ratings with friends.
“This breakthrough is a testament to the creativity of the Sharp Insurance team,” says Sharp Insurance President, Sherif Gemayel, “the creation of the mySHARP app is simply one more development in our never-ending quest to make insurance accessible – and even enjoyable – for Sharp clients, and to empower them by giving them the confidence to be at the forefront of their own insurance information.”
