Announcing an All-new ORBiT Website

(Apr. 23, 2013) – ORBiT Canada is pleased to announce the launch of its new website. According to ORBiT Canada president, Wendy Watson, “The new website is an exciting step forward for ORBiT. In addition to a new look and feel, it is rich with tools and features that will allow us to better support the work of the organization and share that work with the insurance community.”

Some of the main features of the new website include:

Members section: A password-protected area where members-only information is stored, including Working Group meeting minutes and best practice workflows.

Resources section (open to members and non-members): ORBiT’s new blog; Real Time U – ORBiT’s online education centre; and a Library for videos, presentations, whitepapers and other documents of interest to the insurance community.

News & Events section: Information on recent and upcoming events, such as ORBiT’s Education Days 2013, coming in May; plus a repository of ORBiT’s current and past newsletters.

Wendy Watson adds “The new website gives us more tools to support the many volunteers who donate their energy and passion to the Real Time movement. It also gives us a better channel for 2-way communication with the insurance community, complimenting ORBiT’s presence on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. We invite the insurance community, members and non-members alike, to visit our new website at www.orbitcanada.ca. Let us know what you think!”

ORBiT Canada thanks our corporate sponsors CGI and IBM Canada Ltd. for their support in this initiative.

Reminder: when you check out the new website, take the opportunity to register for the 2013 Real Time Education Days as well.
