Latest version delivers enhancements to meet the needs of insurance agencies, brokers and MGA’s who work in a fast paced environment, demanding powerful, extensible and easy-to-use software.

San Francisco, CA June 5, 2012 Terrace Software, a Microsoft Systems Integrator and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner announced today the availability of the latest version of its Agent & Broker System, ABS 3.0.42. The newest release of ABS delivers a real-time interface to carriers and a completely new coverage editor in addition to several new feature enhancements and bug fixes.

A key element of the release includes a real-time interface to carriers using Brovada’s NexCenter. The interface provides connectivity via web services or web portals between the agent’s management systems and insurers’ systems and portals. This simple, single sign-on interface eliminates the need to re-key agent policy information, allows for a consistent workflow in the agent’s office, provides a “community” environment to share scripts across agency offices, and is an affordable solution to agencies and carriers of all sizes.

The release also features a completely new and advanced coverage editor, providing a more logical and intuitive organizational structure to view details of a policy. In a snap, users can review and update both standard and non-standard coverage data, making it even easier to create and renew policies and generate a variety of servicing documents. Users will see reduced data entry errors and training time.

“As insurance agencies, brokers and MGA’s look for software solutions to help them increase business agility and lower costs, they’re not only demanding software applications that help them contain costs and accelerate time-to-market, they’re looking for ways to help them to get closer to their customers,” said Todd Ziesing, Terrace Software’s CEO & Founder. “With the release of our latest product enhancements, Terrace’s Agent and Broker System software is making it easier and more cost-effective to compete in the Specialty Insurance industry.”

“We’re happy to partner with Terrace to provide our NexCenter solution to their agencies,” states Karl Greenlaw, Founder and CEO of Brovada. “Brovada is the leader in the connectivity space within Canada and working with vendors like Terrace we look forward to replicating that success in the US. NexCenter’s unique ability to work with any insurer portal and with a transactional list that includes policy change upload, the sky is the limit when it comes to productivity improvement.”
