Toronto, 24 may 2012 — The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarina Visram to the position of Manager, Member Relations and Communications.
In her new role, Sarina will be responsible for enhancing CSIO’s membership experience through the development and implementation of programs and activities designed to improve membership engagement and promote CSIO’s leading edge technology standards and solutions. With a membership base of over 2100 brokerages, 21 insurers, 43 mutual insurers, and 25 vendors, CSIO is a member-driven organization where collectively, its members develop technology solutions to improve the competitive position of the independent broker distribution channel in Canada.
Sarina joins CSIO from Intact Financial Corporation (IFC) where she has held various positions in human resources, broker distribution and investor relations.
Sarina holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Queens University and a MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
