And the Winners Are …

After six months of concerted attention and careful deliberation, the winners of the prestigious Insurance-Canada Technology Awards were announced today.  These organizations show the kind of innovation and attention to positive business impact that the awards were designed to celebrate.

RMS took the ICTA in the Supplier Category, for the  implementation of portal or web services access to RMS iClarify risk management, underwriting support services reducing renewal underwriting time significantly, allowing field underwriting, and improving claims estimation.

A.P. Reid with ZipSure took the Distributor Category ICTA for developing and servicing a new market with a completely online brokerage facility.

The Insurer category ICTA was awarded to SGI Canada for rapid implementation of the CSIO eDoc standard which greatly facilitates broker handling of documents as well as data, and has served to form a new operationally elegant standard for high-function broker/carrier connectivity.  This award is shared with SGI’s broker and supplier partners Josslin Insurance Brokers, Zycomp, and MASTERCOM.

The awards were announced at the ICTA Luncheon during the 10th annual Insurance-Canada Technology Conference in Toronto on Monday March 5.

As well, the Finalists in the categories were recognized, and the ICTA Jury was introduced.
