West Bend Mutual Insurance Company Selects Accenture to Increase Speed to Market and Continue to Enhance Ease of Doing Business

Insurer will use Accenture Duck Creek property and casualty policy software suite as its core policy administration and billing system

NEW YORK; Feb. 27, 2012 � Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced today that West Bend Mutual Insurance Company (West Bend) has selected the Accenture Duck Creek property and casualty (P&C) policy software suite to help the insurer accelerate its product development processes and enhance customer service. West Bend provides insurance services to home, auto and business owners in the United States.

West Bend will use Accenture Duck Creek Policy Administration and Accenture Duck Creek Billing as its core policy administration and billing systems. The insurer will also leverage Accenture Duck Creek Templates, Accenture�s product configuration software application, to support rapid implementation and ongoing maintenance for ISO (Insurance Services Office) based commercial lines and NCCI (National Council on Compensation Insurance) based workers compensation products.
