Toronto, ON (February 23, 2012) — www.ZurichEZclick.ca, the gateway to Zurich, Canada’s online rate, quote and issue products is now available. ZurichEZclick.ca gives registered brokers direct access to Builders Risk and Equipment Breakdown coverage to quote and bind business quickly and easily.
“Expectations today are to offer ways to keep up with the incredibly fast pace of business,” said Evergreen Lee, Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives, Zurich, Canada. With this portal, our intention is to give brokers the advantage they need to help their customers immediately and to make sure they are a key collaborator in their customer’s growth.
EBmadeEZ is Zurich’s newest online product to be added to the portal. Stand-alone equipment breakdown policies can be quoted and issued in just a few minutes directly from a computer. There is no need for supporting business coverage and the solution suits both small and large size organizations. Minimum premium is as low as $300 and EBmadeEZ can insure up to 20 locations and $50 million in total insured value.
“Among others, manufacturers are a key beneficiary of this new service,” said Michel Rivard, Head of Equipment Breakdown at Zurich, Canada. “An EBmadeEZ policy can provide coverage on production machinery with just a few clicks.”
When a broker arranges Equipment Breakdown through EBmadeEZ for their customer, 13 additional coverages are automatically included in the policy and a variety of optional coverages can be purchased, depending on their needs. An EBmadeEZ policy takes care of all the extra expenses such as emergency overtime, new parts, and labour charges.
Just like ZurichBuildersRisk, EBmadeEZ has a team of regional specialists behind the scenes ready to help brokers and customers. As well as housing Zurich, Canada’s online products, ZurichEZclick.ca is a resource hub too. Customers can arrange jurisdictional inspections and learn about workshops and webinars.
