Joe Doonie, President, Strategic Resource Consultants Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Morris as Vice President. Peter started his insurance career as a licensed broker and has since held several positions in commercial underwriting, sales, marketing and management in Toronto and Calgary for insurance and reinsurance carriers. He subsequently joined the Calgary Office of a national organization that provides the insurance industry with loss control and database services, which took him to the Prairies Division, Vancouver Office and regional office in Ontario. Peter subsequently took a two-year appointment with a firm that specializes in mergers and acquisitions as well as professional recruitment. Most recently he was Vice President at the Canadian subsidiary of a US company that provides reconstruction cost estimating software to the Canadian property and casualty insurance industry.
