For the third year in a row, Insurance-Canada.ca will celebrate organizations which have demonstrated the ability to develop, deliver, or use technology in innovative, creative, and productive ways in the insurance community. Since 2010, Insurance-Canada.ca has honoured such organizations with the coveted Insurance-Canada.ca Technology Award (the ICTA). You can see details for 2011 and 2010 winners on the ICTA site.
The ICTA is a unique honour in that the key criteria is the impact that the use of the technology has had. This is primarily a business award for the use of technology.
For 2012, Insurance-Canada.ca has introduced new features and incentives to participate.
- The ICTAs will be presented during a special awards lunch at the 2012 Insurance-Canada.ca Technology Conference, guaranteeing maximum visibility for finalists and awardees;
- All finalists will be featured in CITopBroker magazine preceding the conference;
- Award categories will allow both single and multi-party applications; and
- The awards will be determined by a jury composed of recognized experts in the insurance technology. We will profile the jury in a later blog.
So, what does this mean to you?
If you know an organization – vendor, insurer, broker, supplier – that has used technology to realize benefits, submit a nomination.
If you represent an organization – vendor, insurer, broker, supplier – that has used technology to realize benefits, submit a nomination. Don’t be shy! You know how good your work is, and so should the world!
