October 11, 2011 – Policy Works Inc. is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company (The Dominion) to deliver a commercial lines data exchange solution for small Commercial business, integrating Policy Works’ Commercial Management System (CMS) and The Dominion’s Commercial systems. This solution offers no-touch, straight-through processing in real time, enabling brokers to send submissions to and receive quotations from The Dominion electronically, all while staying within the Policy Works desktop environment.

This is aligned with the data integration objectives of our broker partners at the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) and ORBiT – focusing on increased efficiency and profitability, reduced costs and increased sales.”

The integration is expected to be completed by the fall of 2012. The Policy Works Certified Data-Exchange Partner (CDEP) program ensures that commercial data is exchanged between insurers and Policy Works in an accurate, reliable, and secure manner.
