August 18, 2011 (Spencerville, ON) — Grenville Mutual Insurance Company is pleased to announce the successful pilot launch of their new business automobile upload on July 8th (2011). This functionality provides Grenville’s brokers with a significant efficiency gain allowing them to complete a new business submission in less than 3 minutes. Taking only 7 months to build, Grenville is extremely pleased with the speed at which Brovada and MCCG were able to take this phase to market as well as the positive broker feedback the solution is garnering.
“We’re committed to our broker partners,” says Ross Lincoln, President and CEO of Grenville Mutual. “We launched download eight years ago and it was time to provide more. With that in mind we launched Inquiry in 2010 and New Business in 2011. We’ve built a lot of momentum and are excited to keep adding to the functionality.”
With new business automobile upload now successfully deployed, Grenville will plan for the future launch of agribusiness inquiry and residential new business upload later this year.
“It’s great to be able to provide Grenville with an industry-leading solution bringing their connectivity ahead of many of Canada’s tier-one insurers,” said Charles Samolczyk, Vice President of Product Sales with Brovada. “As our recent survey of more than 700 brokerages clearly states, brokers will write more business with insurers that support ‘once and done’ systems. Grenville realized the importance of this investment and understood that brokers did not want any more portals.”
Grenville, Brovada and MCCG have worked collaboratively from the start to ensure the functionality was brought to market in a timely and stable fashion.
“MCCG has built the IBS Insurance Gateway to guarantee we our meeting our clients’ needs for web connectivity through third party vendors like Brovada, while ensuring their data remains protected within the IBS environment. MCCG remains committed to our clients and meeting their developing business requirements in the insurance industry,” said Frank Barretto, President and CEO of MCCG.
