WINDSOR, CT June 2011 – Artizan Internet Services announced that it has finalized the integration of CSR24 with the Applied Systems Epic™ agency management system.
“Epic serves some of the largest agents and brokers in the United States,” said Richard H. Roy, president of Artizan. “The seamless integration with CSR24 will provide Epic clients the capabilities to offer their insureds around-the-clock online service.” This integration provides Epic clients with an agency-branded portal where policyholders can obtain certificates of insurance, auto IDs and other insurance documents.
“It not only extends the convenience to the policyholder by allowing online access to these forms, it also streamlines the agent’s desktop certificate processing,” Roy explained. By allowing insureds to obtain their own certificates, agents and brokers see improved internal efficiencies and lower processing costs.
James P. Kellner, chairman and CEO of Applied Systems, said: “In the highly competitive world of insurance, agents and brokers need to provide the best service options for their clients. Today’s customers are demanding online self-service functionalities. Our Epic system offers our clients the best management system features available. With the integration to Artizan’s CSR24, we now can also offer them the best customer- facing solution as well.”
How it Works
Artizan’s CSR24 system will access the policy data from the agent or broker’s Epic system and post it through a secured connection to Artizan’s servers. The data will then be available online for staff and policyholders. The policyholder never touches or changes the original system data. The data is secure and the agent mediates all transactions before binding. All activity generated in CSR24 will also post automatically to the agent or broker’s Epic system so all CSRs/Producers/Claims personnel will receive pro-active information from the policyholders.
CSR24 provides:
- Certificates
- Auto IDs
- Real-time certificate holder update capabilities
- First Notice of Loss
- Policy Inquiry
- Data change requests
Artizan’s CSR24 also offers a Call Center option allowing agents and brokers to switch over their inbound calls on a nightly basis or during emergencies.
