ASCnet offers scholarship to technology conference

Application deadline is May 31

University Park, Illinois – May 19, 2011 – Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) is accepting applications for a scholarship that will allow an ASCnet member to attend the organization’s 2011 annual conference in September in Orlando, Fla.

The scholarship provides round-trip air fare, hotel accommodations and registration for TENCon, ASCnet’s Technology, Education & Networking Conference. This year’s TENCon takes place September 20-23, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention Center.

ASCnet is the international authorized user group of professionals who use agency and broker management solutions developed by insurance technology company Applied Systems. The annual TENCon scholarship is awarded jointly by ASCnet’s board of directors and its Past Presidents Foundation. Applicants may apply online or download a form at www.ascnet.org. Deadline for applications is May 31, 2011.

�We want our winner to be able to connect with Applied Systems, carriers and fellow users so he or she can receive the best training available, network and learn about new solutions to help his or her agency grow,� said Susan Carlson, ASCnet’s director of education. To qualify, applicants must be ASCnet members in good standing. A scholarship subcommittee will review the applicants and notify the winner July 31.
