This award recognizes organizations whose implementations of technology in the Canadian property and casualty and life insurance industries show the greatest positive impact on their business.
Crawford has long been committed to using cutting-edge technology, often developed in-house, to streamline its claims handling processes and improve client service. In 2010, the Company launched its newest technology, Crawford CMS Property ADVANTAGE, a software application that is deployed on a mobile platform and allows Crawford adjusters to complete site visits and reports right at the claim scene.
The application dramatically accelerates claim closing times, not only because it provides a mobile office for the adjuster, but also because it automates best practice claims handling processes. The software is now being used by hundreds of Crawford adjusters across Canada.
CMS Property ADVANTAGE was developed in-house by a project team of more than 80 individuals over a 20-month period from project initiation through application development to implementation, including hardware deployment and training.
