With one week left to go, the Insurance-Canada.ca team feel they will be ready to ‘reveal’ the 9th annual insurance-technology conference to what appears to be a record number of attendees on February 28, 2011.
The conference theme – Business Results Through Informed Action – is carried through out the programme by a high-caliber faculty, consisting of practitioners, suppliers, consultants, and analysts. Specific presentations will focus on key topic areas for insurance and technology professionals: Business Intelligence/Analytics, Modern Core Technologies (Claims, Policy Administration, Billing), and Web 2.0/Collaboration (including social media and cloud computing). Although technology is key, the presentations will all be business focused – how the technology is used to achieve business results. Several sessions will target use of measurement tools to assist in monitoring business-technology alignment.
There will be an active exhibit area where 28 of the leading suppliers of technology and services will provide the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with attendees on specific solutions.
We have also received approval for 6.5 RIBO Management hours credits.
Immediately following the conference, there will be an opportunity for networking at a reception in the exhibit area. Following the reception, the Insurance-Canada Technology Awards will be be presented at a special dinner to honour award recipients.
Registration has been brisk and we are expecting an attendance which will exceed previous years. As in the past, we have senior level professionals from insurance companies, brokers, and suppliers to the industry preparing to join us for the day.
There is still time to register. And we PROMISE to be really ready at 7:30 AM on February 28th!
