Mississauga, ON, (January 24, 2011) – York Fire & Casualty Insurance Company (“York”) announces the launch of their most recent Broker connectivity solution for New Business Upload, Endorsements and Policy Inquiry. York has been working closely with Brovada Technologies Incorporated (“Brovada”) to bring this functionality to market and participating brokers are excited about what they are seeing.

Integrating Brovada’s NexCenter product with York’s web portal allows brokers to perform real-time transactions directly from their broker management system. NexCenter includes an Insurer Connectivity module, formerly known as Nexisys, that connects broker management systems to insurer systems for real-time processing of Inquiry, New Business and Endorsement transactions.

This achievement demonstrates York’s ability to deliver leading-edge functionality to the broker community. “We are excited to be working with York and are confident they will see immediate returns as they eliminate the need for brokers to re-key data” says Michael Wright, Senior Vice President of Operations for Brovada.
“We understand the competitive market our brokers face and we are firmly committed to finding “ease of doing business” solutions to help them successfully compete and grow their businesses,” said Martin Delage, York’s President and COO. “It is an absolute priority within York to listen to our Broker Partners and provide them with technology tools that are easy to use and assist them in serving their clients.”
