For reporting an automobile claim, anytime, anyplace
MONTREAL, Sept. 29, 2010 – AXA redefines online insurance and innovates yet again by introducing AXA Mobile, a user-friendly tool designed for clients who have iPhones. With the launch of this new app, AXA once more leads the way in Quebec!
The AXA Mobile app is a truly useful companion for drivers: in the event of an accident, it lets AXA insureds report their claim immediately. They can even record spoken comments and document the event by, among other things, providing details and photographs.
“With AXA Mobile, we’re pushing the envelope even further,” explains Richard Taschereau, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and External Communications, Property/Casualty Insurance, at AXA. “Our clients already appreciate our online quotation and shopping services found at www.axa.ca. The new iPhone app broadens our Web-based offer by adding claims reporting to the mix. This enhancement is especially useful because it allows insureds to make a claim only minutes after the auto accident or glass breakage occurs.”
Any time, any place
AXA Mobile provides quick and easy access at any time and any place to helpful information, essential telephone numbers and the links drivers need in order to take action after being involved in a road accident or damaging their windshield or window.
iPhone users will also find access to emergency and assistance services as well as tips for preventing vehicle theft and road accidents.
For their part, AXA insureds in Quebec will be able to take advantage of all of AXA Mobile’s features, which include submitting their auto insurance claim.
Web surfers can visit www.axa.ca/axa-mobile to view a video that shows how quick and easy it is to use AXA Mobile. They’ll also find a link to the App Store, a site familiar to all iPhone users, where they can download the app free of charge.
A broker is just a call away
AXA Mobile and its many features let insureds quickly submit a claim, provide documentary evidence for their claim file and, as a result, speed their claim settlement. However, they also know that, if they wish, they can always count on their broker to provide assistance and guide them through the process.
Present throughout Canada, AXA offers a broad range of property/casualty and life and health insurance products to its clients through its 2,300 employees and some 4,000 brokers and advisors. In 2009, AXA had revenues of C$2.05 billion and net earnings of C$137.6 million.
