July 2010 Price List Update Now Available: Xactware

OREM, Utah�Jul. 1, 2010� The July 2010 price list updates for over 460 regions in the United States and Canada are now available for download.

A summary of price changes reported in this update are as follows (national average changes, which have been reported since the June 2010 price list publication):

Pricing research for the July 2010 publication shows that the Labor and Material report, which measures common material and labor used in claims and remodeling, decreased in both the United States and Canada. The Billable Retail Labor Rates report remained steady for the United States and decreased slightly in Canada. Decreases in the Common Material Only report are driven mainly by lumber. The Common Lumber Material report dropped 3.04 percent in the United States and decreased 3.17 percent in Canada. The 30-year Shingle Labor and Material report shows an increase in the United States and a decrease in Canada. The �� installed drywall report shows declines in the United States and Canada that were driven mainly by material decreases. The information reported here is based on national averages and it is important to note that actual changes will vary within each individual pricing market.

Gasoline prices decrease in the U.S. and Canada

Since the June 2010 publication, gasoline prices have decreased 1.06 percent in the United States and have remained steady in Canada. Because gasoline prices can change rapidly, Xactware recommends users monitor their local costs to determine whether repair or construction costs have been affected.
