ATLANTA – April 7, 2010 – To help insurance companies provide new employees with basic insurance knowledge, LOMA recently launched its Insurance Onboarding Series.
“The best onboarding programs reaffirm an employees decision to join the company,” said Kathy Milligan, FLMI, ACS, vice president of LOMAs Education and Training Division. “By teaching basic insurance terms and concepts, our onboarding courses not only equip new employees to be productive in their jobs but also build their confidence.”
The series features two self-paced online courses, “15-Minute Insurance Industry Overview” and “The Life of an Insurance Policy.” Learners will experience interactive, job-relevant training that helps them become more productive more quickly.
Designed to complement LOMA’s Need-2-Know program, the Insurance Onboarding Series is accompanied by an optional discussion guide and can be easily integrated into a companys existing onboarding training program. The training offers engaging and job-related content to help new employees better understand the life insurance industry while reducing a companys administration time. The courses can be delivered in a variety of methods to provide optimum learning flexibility for the employee.
