Sun Life Financial wins prize for interactive and informative site at nvestor Education Awards
TORONTO, Dec. 22 2008 – Sun Life Financial’s My retirement website, www.sunlife.ca/MyRetirement, has won an award at the Investor Education Awards held by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC). The website, designed specifically to meet the needs of Canadian baby boomers, uses clear and simple language along with interactive tools and calculators to help Canadians plan for retirement.

The judges, comprised of prominent members of the investment community, praised the My retirement site for the interaction and information available to users.
This award builds on the success of Sun Life’s award-winning website My financial plan, www.sunlife.ca/MyFinancialPlan. The site was recently recognized with an Award of Excellence by the Insurance and Financial Communicators Association for its style, layout, content and navigation, and overall usability.
