Fidelity leads among top intermediary sites, according to a new study by kasina
New York, (September 23, 2008) — Top firms in the intermediary channel now increasingly incorporate advanced Web technology to simplify and enhance user experience, according to kasina, an asset management consultant.
In its 10th annual “Top 10 Intermediary Web Sites” study, kasina identified the 10 strongest Web sites within the intermediary channel based on criteria that fall into three distinct categories: Availability of Content, Quality of Content, and User Experience. During evaluations of over 50 asset management intermediary sites, kasina reviewed 5 categories of information: Branding, Online Services, Product and Performance Information, Support Content and Usability.
This year’s batch of Top 10 sites continue to illustrate the broader trend toward more sophisticated Web technologies, with several sites on the list incorporating new functionality and increased depth of information, such as institutional-level product and performance information, embedded video commentary, and podcasts.
Johanna Willer, a senior consultant at kasina, says, “As the crowded market calls for increased differentiation and information, this year’s list proves that content organization and overall site usability is already a must to compete.”
