FirstOnSite and Disaster Kleenup Canada Network Agree to Separate

Toronto, August 27, 2008 – FirstOnSite Restoration L.P. and Disaster Kleenup Canada Ltd. jointly announced today that FirstOnSite Restoration will be leaving the Disaster Kleenup Canada organization effective August 31, 2008.

In January of 2007 TorQuest Partners Inc. announced the creation of a limited partnership that now operates under the name of FirstOnSite Restoration L.P. and is primarily comprised of a number of DKC Members. As FirstOnSite developed its business model, it became evident that it was not compatible with that of Disaster Kleenup’s, and so the two parties have mutually agreed to a separation.

“Our strategy and vision is to build Canada’s first complete national provider of disaster restoration services,” said Ian Milne, FirstOnSite’s Chief Executive Officer. “To achieve our objectives, we need to be completely independent.”

Added Matt Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Disaster Kleenup, “It is important that Disaster Kleenup and FirstOnSite are able to meet their individual business goals and objectives. Disaster Kleenup will continue to maintain its solid presence in the property damage industry and our commitment remains unchanged.”

FirstOnSite is a full service restoration provider with expertise in water losses, document restoration, wind damage, fire and smoke damage, sewer backup, hurricane and tornado restorations, odour control, contents handling, drying, electronic repairs, mould remediation, asbestos remediation, petroleum spills, infection control and general contracting. FirstOnSite is majority-owned by TorQuest Partners Inc. of Toronto. www.firstonsite.ca
