New release demonstrates Allegients continued commitment to the future and growth with new technology platform and additional product functionality
Wilton, CT July 15, 2008 – Allegient Systems, a leading software and service provider that continues to set the standard in legal expense and performance management, today announced Version 5.7 of its Expense and Performance Management Suite software system, one of the insurance industrys most broadly utilized, ASP-delivered, litigation management and bill review solutions. Version 5.7 is now available to all Allegient clients.
Version 5.7 enhancements include a new Appeals Module as well as a variety of additional functionality and performance capabilities. This latest version is deployed on a new, state-of-the-art hardware platform, offering both superior performance and scalability as well as greatly expanded storage capacity.
By soliciting ongoing input and feedback from its users, Allegient Systems is able to continuously improve its products and services for carrier clients and their partners. Feedback on the appeal process from Allegient clients and law firm users was instrumental in the changes to the Appeals Module; further enhancing the already collaborative on-line appeal process. With Version 5.7 users are now able to review the appeal in context of the invoice, save draft work, and more easily communicate with the law firm regarding the overall appeal, various areas of concern or specific line item discrepancies. Expanded navigation provides the user the ability to review case/matter, invoice, item, vendor details, and maintain their place in the process while responding to an appeal. These added features and functionality allow for a more efficient and easy-to-follow appeal process for all process stakeholders.
In addition to the Appeals Module, other 5.7 enhancements include:
- Improved audit reports by adding navigation for multi-page invoices
- Updates to further support the recently revised UTBMS Litigation Code Set
- Added functionality for Independent Adjuster bill review
Allegients CEO John F. Kelly said, Allegient Systems is proud of our market leadership and the reputation we have earned as an innovator in the legal/insurance invoice processing and payment sector. Kelly continued, These latest hardware and software upgrades with Version 5.7 position us well to continue our market expansion. Our capacity and performance have been increased by an order of magnitude, and the new state-of-the-art systems provide a robust foundation for increased security, availability, and expansion of our best-of-breed solutions.
