New trade credit insurance policy to be offered through RBC Insurance’s Agreement with Aon Reed Stenhouse

OTTAWA, June 24 2008 — Atradius Credit Insurance N.V. today announced the introduction of the Modula Start policy in Canada. Modula Start is the latest product in the Atradius Modula family of products launched in 2006 and is designed to provide small and mid-sized companies with comprehensive yet easy-to-understand credit insurance to protect them against the risks of non-payment of their customers.

The Modula policy is a unique concept which allows Atradius to meet the specific credit insurance needs of customers in a flexible and transparent manner.

According to Ian Miller, Atradius’ country manager in Canada, the new Modula Start policy enhances this concept further for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). “Smaller businesses also need to protect themselves against insolvencies of their buyers. Recognising that owners of smaller companies — that is, those with sales of up to $2,000,000 — have so many responsibilities, the Modula Start policy is designed to be easy to administer and cost efficient. Most important, it provides the first-class quality of coverage enjoyed by large companies.”

The Atradius Modula Start program is designed to be distributed through cooperation partners. In Canada, Modula Start is currently only available through RBC Insurance at 1-877-91-ROYAL (76925) as brokered and managed by Aon Reed Stenhouse.
