Guidewire Software Deploys Community Resource Center for Increased Customer Convenience

Portal offers Guidewire customers a more efficient way to report and track issues, access the latest product information, and share best practices

SAN MATEO, CA, USA, January 24, 2008 – Guidewire Software�, a leading global provider of solutions to property and casualty insurers, today announced the launch of its Community Resource Center customer portal, designed to facilitate the flow of best practices and product information between customers and Guidewire support staff.

The Community Resource Center increases customer visibility into the status of their support issues throughout the resolution process. The new Community Resource Center will also provide a venue for customers with similar challenges to share and benefit from each other�s experience, and to access the latest Guidewire product documentation online.

The 24/7, on-demand availability of this resource library will provide an effective tool enabling customers to:

  • manage support issues with greater visibility;
  • view knowledge base articles for solutions, tips, and techniques that have worked well for others; and
  • access online copies of official Guidewire documentation.

Planning for 2008 enhancements is already underway. Thus far the plan calls for the addition of Community Message Boards (i.e. discussion forums) where Guidewire customers, implementation partners, and Guidewire employees will be able to interact with one another regarding implementation questions, best practices, and general knowledge sharing.
