MISSISSAUGA, December 20, 2007 – York Fire and Casualty Insurance Company (York Fire) launched this week its Manufacturer Connection product – the latest in its collection of commercial product offerings. Designed to meet the needs of today’s manufacturing businesses and to accommodate US sales, this product provides practical and comprehensive insurance protection.

It includes many specialized coverages including Product Recall Expense, In-House Engineering, Professional Liability, Boiler and Machinery, Consequential Loss Assumption Clause, Penalties for Non-Delivery, Service Interruption and much more. “One of the features that makes our product so unique is the extensive amount of additional coverages provided at no extra cost,” states Jim Cutler, Vice President of Commercial Lines at York Fire & Casualty. “When you add these no-cost features to our already comprehensive policy coverage and limits, and then consider the extent to which we are able to accommodate US Sales…the result is a unique product offering for manufacturing businesses.”

York Fire’s Commercial Connection products are designed with the mid-market commercial client in mind. In addition to the new Manufacturer Connection product, York Fire offers Contractor Connection, Building Owner Connection and Garage Connection products.
