The insurance broker is York Fires sole distribution channel. It represents the companys face to consumers, and is an integral part of the companys growth of well over 400% in the past 5 years. iter8 insurance software solutions are the technological solution chosen by York Fire to meet their needs for seamless, real-time connectivity. iter8 software automates and manages the sales, service and underwriting process. This includes broker connectivity solutions, automated exception-based underwriting, workflow management, underwriting rules management and third party data integration.
York Fire presents underwriting rules within the broker office, or the point-of-sale, via a web based interface. This provides information where needed, when needed, enabling right time decision making. Colin Simpson, President and CEO of York Fire commented, We understand the competitive market our brokers face, and we are firmly committed to finding solutions to help them successfully compete and grow their businesses. He added, It is an absolute priority within York Fire to provide the technology necessary to help brokers compete against direct writers and affinity groups and win.
Glen Piller, President of iter8 stated, iter8 and York Fire have a long-term relationship that has produced significant accomplishments. York Fire uses technology that provides their brokers with the full capability to quote, bind, and service customers from their offices. York Fire is constantly looking at ways to streamline these activities, and extend them into new products and service areas.
