NewLink Group announces the launch of The Distribution Service Satisfaction Survey 2007

Following the success of the inaugural survey in 2006, NewLink is pleased to announce the launch of the 2007 Distribution Service Satisfaction Survey.

“Having established a benchmark for service and expectations of service in 2006, it is now critical for companies to monitor change. Several of 2006’s sponsors initiated service improvement projects as a result of last year’s findings and they will want to know the impact of those initiatives.” commented Neil Silverman, Executive Consultant.

More and more, service is becoming a differentiating point of competition and there are few opportunities for insurance advisors to voice their opinion in a significant way. Advisors, Distributors and others in the sales process who want their opinion to count are being asked to complete a broad 15 to 25 minute online survey. Thousands of Advisors will receive a direct email on this but anyone in the sales chain can complete the survey online by clicking on or by accessing the survey via the NewLink website at

“Last year over 1100 Advisors took the time and effort to tell us what they think – clearly this is an extremely important issue to those selling and servicing insurance policies.”, said Byren Innes, Senior Vice President and Director. “We hope that even more will respond this year, as the more responses we get, the more we are able to provide detailed information to insurance companies for them to make adjustments and improvements. The time it takes to complete the survey is an investment that will pay back in improved service in the future.” Responding to requests from sponsoring insurers, this year’s survey begins to delve into top line issues on Living Benefits, Annuities and Segregated Funds, while continuing its strong, thorough focus on service issues related the sale and service of Life Insurance
