Accident Support Services Ltd. Receives Approval to Open a Collision Reporting Centre in Partnership with the Timmins Police Service

Toronto, April 23, 2007 — Accident Support Services Ltd., Facilitators of Collision Reporting to the Insurance Industry, are pleased to announce that on July 30, 2007 we will open a Collision Reporting Centre with the Timmins Police Service.

The Timmins Collision Reporting Centre will provide enhanced value to the public in the investigation of vehicle collisions. Rather than Police attending the scene of their accident, citizens will exchange information, and will have 48 hours to report property damage only collisions, towed or driveable, at the Collision Reporting Centre. Police will continue to attend collisions involving injury or death, alcohol, criminal activity, vehicles transporting dangerous goods or police vehicles.

The Timmins Collision Reporting Centre will be located at the new Police Station, 185 Spruce Street South in Timmins. The hours of operation are from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Upon the citizens arrival at the centre, they will be greeted, and a member of our staff will help them complete the police report, direct them to police personnel as needed, photograph the damage to the vehicle, and offer them the opportunity to contact their family, broker or insurance company directly from the Police Station, offering the citizen a one stop service opportunity. The Centre will be equipped with our Microsoft award winning state-of-the- art technology, the Collision Reporting and Occurrence Management System (CROMS). Participating Insurers have immediate web portal access to their policyholders collision reports, and the ability to download directly from CROMS to create a First Notice of Loss in their system.

Accident Support Services is under contract with the Barrie, London, Peterborough, North Bay, Owen Sound, Brantford, Belleville, Hamilton, Durham Region, Cornwall, and Toronto Police Services, as well as with the Ontario Provincial Police. Accident Support Services goal is to facilitate an active partnership between the police and insurers in post accident care by providing knowledgeable advice and assistance to accident victims with empathy, integrity and availability.
